Who is Thomas Warburton?

Thomas Warburton is a Finnish writer, translator, and recipient of the Eino Leino Prize in 1997. Warburton is a Swedish speaker, who translates to Swedish from English and Finnish. Among authors he translated are Shakespeare, Joyce, Orwell, Lawrence Stern, William Faulkner, and Edgar Lee Masters as well as Finnish authors such as Aleksis Kivi, Eino Leino, Mika Waltari, and Volter Kilpi. His translations of James Joyce's Ulysses, first in 1946 and updated version in 1993, attracted much attention.
