Who is Apolônio de Carvalho?
Apolônio de Carvalho was a Brazilian socialist important in the history of the Workers' Party. Carvalho fought for the republicans in the Spanish civil war and against the nazi occupation of France, where he is considered a hero. He was praised by Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
