Who is Beverly Jane Fry?

Beverly Jane Fry is an Australian ballerina. Fry attended St. Leonard's college, in bayside melbourne Australia. Beverly Jane Fry trained with Australian Prima Ballerina, Kathleen Gorham and then continued her studies at both the Stuttgart Ballet School and the Australian Ballet School. She joined the London Festival Ballet now the English National Ballet after graduating at the age of 17. After a career as an international ballerina over 20 years and featuring as a Principal of London City Ballet, she went on to become a teacher. She is currently Artistic Director of the National Theatre in Melbourne.

Her repertoire includes Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Giselle, Aurora, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Desdemona, Marguerite and Prudence in La Traviata and the elder sister in Frank Staff's Transfigured Night.
