Who was Charles de Courcy Parry?
Charles de Courcy Parry CBE was a British police officer who served as Chief Constable of the Cumberland and Westmorland Constabulary from 1902 to 1927, when he was appointed His Majesty's Inspector of Constabulary for Wales.
Already Officer of the Order of the British Empire, he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 1920 civilian war honours.
