Who is Chushan-Rishathaim?

According to biblical sources, Chushan-Rishathaim was king of Aram Naharaim or Northwest Mesopotamia, and the first oppressor of Israel. In the book of Judges God delivers the Israelites into his hand for eight years as a punishment for polytheism. However, when the people of Israel "cried out to the Lord" he saved them through Othniel, son of Kenaz.

'Rishathaim' means 'double-wickedness'.
