David Koblas

Who is David Koblas?

David leads the front-end engineering efforts for the Wink website.

For the last ten years, David has been involved in delivering numerous

high-profile consumer experiences, including running engineering for

the Yahoo! Mail and PIM products, the first full-time employee and

Principal Engineer at MailFrontier, and as Director of Engineering at

Excite@Home running a number of the Excite portal products. He

pioneered work in some of the original HTML authoring tools at

companies such as Adobe and SGI.

Prior to the Internet, David was involved in projects ranging from

the Virtual Planetary Exploration system for the Research Institute for

Advanced Computer Science to constructing a streaming video system for

the Norwegian National Library. When David isn't cranking out new

features for Wink, he's hanging out with his family, or can be found

running the trails or cycling the roads of Silicon Valley.
