Who was Emperor Xiaozhuang of Northern Wei?

Emperor Xiaozhuang of Northern Wei, personal name Yuan Ziyou, was an emperor of the Mongolian Xianbei dynasty Northern Wei. He was placed on the throne by the general Erzhu Rong, who refused to recognize the young emperor Yuan Zhao that Emperor Xiaoming's mother Empress Dowager Hu placed on the throne after she poisoned Emperor Xiaoming. During his reign, Erzhu largely controlled the military and acted in a violent manner, leading Emperor Xiaozhuang to believe that he would usurp the throne. In 530, Emperor Xiaozhuang ambushed Erzhu and killed him in the palace, but Erzhu's cousin Erzhu Shilong and nephew Erzhu Zhao subsequently defeated Emperor Xiaozhuang, capturing and killing him.
