Who is Gavin Lovegrove?
Gavin Brian Lovegrove was a javelin thrower from New Zealand, who twice represented his native country at the Summer Olympics,. He won a bronze medal at three consecutive Commonwealth Games: in 1986, 1990 and 1994.
Lovegrove was also a former world junior record holder Athens, Greece 1986 and Noumea, New Caledonia 1986. A six-time national champion Lovegrove now works as a graphic designer and web developer in Auckland, New Zealand.
