Who was Gunilla Von Bahr?
Gunilla von Bahr, född Palmkvist 28 juni 1941 i Lund, död 5 februari 2013 i Oscars församling, Stockholm, var en svensk flöjtist och musikchef. Hon var gift med Robert von Bahr 1970-1977. Hon återtog senare sitt flicknamn Palmkvist men använde namnet von Bahr i sin professionella verksamhet.
Gunilla von Bahr var en av Sveriges mest framgångsrika tvärflöjtister och spelade in många skivor, bland annat soloalbumen Solflöjt 1-4, som innehåller blandad klassisk repertoar. Hon utnämndes 1991 till ledamot nr 872 av Kungliga Musikaliska Akademien.
Hon var chef för Musik i Kronoberg i Växjö 1988–1989, chef för Malmö symfoniorkester 1990–1995 samt rektor för Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm 2000–2006.
Hon är mor till Carl-Michael Herlöfsson.
