Who was Gunnar Bärlund?

Gunnar Richard Bernhard Bärlund was a Finnish boxer who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics Won six national competitions - all by knockout, 1933 Heavyweight Champion of Finland, 1934 Heavyweight Champion of Europe. Amateur 'Gee Bee' 110 matches/won 100.

1934 turned Professional - 85 matches/won 56. He lost to Tami Mauriello three times.
