Kurumi Nara is a professional tennis player, primarily in singles. She is a right-handed baseliner and uses a two-handed backhand stroke, considered her strongest. After a very successful junior career, Nara has struggled to earn a place in the upper echelons of women's tennis after turning pro in 2009, but her career took a step up in 2013 with a best-ever performance at the US Open.
