Who is Norman Lane?
Norman Lane is a Canadian sprint canoer who competed in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a bronze in the C-1 10000 m event at London in 1948. He competed in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics but did not win a medal. He was born in Toronto, Ontario.
As of 2012 he is a Professor of Mathematics at McMaster University.
