Who is Olga Sharutenko?
Olga Sharutenko is a Russian ice dancer. She competed with partner Dmitri Naumkin. After becoming the 1995 World Junior champions, they turned senior and won the Nebelhorn Trophy in 1995 and 1997, the Karl Schäfer Memorial in 1996, and the Winter Universiade in 1997 and 1999. They skated together for 15 years.
Sharutenko began skating when she was six years old, like her mother, and was training twice daily, six days a week by the age of eight. She currently skates professionally with The Imperial Ice Stars. and is touring the UK with Sleeping Beauty. Later in 2013, she will appear in The Nutcracker in Southampton and Cardiff with her Dancing On Ice Partner Keith Chegwin. In 2006, she skated with John Barrowman in series 1 of ITV's Dancing on Ice. She was paired with TV presenter Keith Chegwin in series 8 – they came 7th overall.
