Who was Qiu Jin?

Qiu Jin, courtesy names Xuanqing and Jingxiong, sobriquet Jianhu Nüxia, was a Chinese revolutionary, feminist and writer. She was executed after a failed uprising against the Qing Dynasty. She is considered a national heroine in China.
