Who is Salem Sheikhi?
Salim al-Shaikhi is currently the Khatib at Didsbury Mosque, West Didsbury.
Salim al-Shaikhi was born in Bayda, Libya, and completed his primary education in Libya. He graduated from Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia and later received a Diploma from Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan.
He is a member of the European Council for Fatwa and Research and also teaches modules relating to Islamic Personal Status Law and Inheritance at the European Institute of Human Sciences.
