Who is Sally Bagshaw?

Sally Bagshaw is a member of the Seattle City Council, first elected in 2009. She defeated her challenger David Bloom in the November election by winning 69.25 percent of the vote. As of January 2010 she is chair of the Parks & Seattle Center committee and the Waterfront Planning committee, vice chair of the Public Safety & Education Committee, a member of the Built Environment committee, and an alternate on the Housing, Human Services, Health, & Culture committee.

Bagshaw received a bachelor's degree in history from Stanford University in 1973 and a JD from the University of Idaho in 1976.
