Who was Stefano Tamburini?
Stefano Tamburini was an Italian graphic artist, author and publisher.
Born in Rome, he founded the magazines Combinazioni, Cannibale and Frigidaire
He is the creator of comic character RanXerox, which later own in its bombastic, hyperrealistic, colorful version was drawn by his friend Tanino Liberatore. He embodied with his graphic work the spirit of the eighties, bringing great innovation in this field. With his friend Andrea Pazienza, Stefano has been one of the most brilliant mind of his generation. In 1983 he married Emi Fontana.
