Who is Tatsuhiro Oshiro?
Tatsuhiro Oshiro is an Okinawan novelist and playwright. He was awarded the Akutagawa Prize in 1967 for his novel The Cocktail Party. Oshiro has also been an innovator of the traditional Ryukyua kumiodori. Two of his plays are Umino Tenzakai and Hingire, Niibichi.
