Temi Ejoor
Politician
Who is Temi Ejoor?
Navy Captain Temi Ejoor was a Nigerian Military Administrator of Enugu State and then of Abia State during the military regime of General Sani Abacha.
Temi Ejoor was born in Ughelli in Delta State. He is an alumnus of Hussey College Warri.
As Abia State governor he earned the nickname "Wey my own?" among the locals because he reportedly asked this question about any government project, asking how big his cut would be. He dismissed about three thousand staff of Nsukka origin who had been appointed during the Nwodo administration. The concept of Obuaku City was conceived during his rule, as a new city to provide homes for people working in the nearby big cities of Aba and Port Harcourt, but little progress was made.
