Tess Koleczek

Who is Tess Koleczek?

As Chief Privacy Officer for E-LOAN since 2002, Tess has helped to

ensure that the critical and personal financial data E-LOAN's consumers

entrust the company to review are safeguarded with the most secure

technology and most stringent of privacy practices. Under Ms.

Koleczek's leadership, E-LOAN has been nationally recognized year after

year by national independent research groups. In 2004, 2005, 2006 and

2007, E-LOAN has been named one of America's "Most Trusted Companies

for Privacy" by TRUSTe and the Ponemon Institute. In The Customer

Respect Group 2005 and 2006 surveys, E-LOAN received the highest rating

in the Online Customer Respect Study of North America's largest

financial services firms. Prior to E-LOAN, Ms. Koleczek served as a

consultant for Zero Knowledge Systems in Montreal, Canada, where she

advised on best practices in privacy and client compliance with

Canada's strict data protection laws. She began her career in privacy

protection at Netscape where she was responsible for safeguarding the

company's critical website data. Ms. Koleczek earned her law degree

from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, NH with a specialty in

intellectual property and technology licensing. She holds a Bachelor of

Arts from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, MN.
