Who is Vivek Jain?

Vivek Jain is Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Cardinal Health. Before joining Cardinal Health in July 2007, Vivek served as Senior Vice President/Head of Healthcare Strategy, Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions (MA) for Philips Medical at Philips Electronics in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a key member of the medical management team for Philips, Vivek had global oversight of the strategic planning process and responsibility for financial analysis of all healthcare transactions. Prior to joining Philips, Vivek spent 12 years with J.P. Morgan Securities in New York. There, he held a series of positions of increasing responsibility, including time as Managing Director/Co-head of Global Healthcare Investment Banking. During his tenure at JP Morgan, Vivek was involved with more than 100 completed MA or equity transactions with healthcare companies. Vivek graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelors degree in economics.
