Who was Vladimir Constantinescu?
Vladimir Constantinescu was a Romanian Major-General during World War II. He began his military career as Commandant of Cavalry School in 1941, and in 1942 became Commanding Officer 8th Rosiori Cavalry Regiment and Commandant of Cavalry School. He served as Chief of Staff Mechanized Troops Command, and in 1944 was General Officer Commanding 1st Cavalry Division and Deputy General Officer Commanding 8th Cavalry Division. Constantinescu went into reserve in 1946, and retired in 1947.
