Who was Bob Mason?

Bob Mason was a British actor, born in Rochdale, Lancashire, who played Terry Bradshaw in Coronation Street and Sergeant Eddie Slater in The Lakes. He also appeared in The Bill, Doctors, Casualty, Where the Heart Is, The Missing Postman, Between the Lines, Juliet Bravo, Peak Practice, Clocking Off, Teachers, Cutting It, and Dalziel and Pascoe. He also worked as a writer penning scripts of Coronation Street in 1986 - quite notably making him the first regular member of the cast to write for the programme.
