Who is Carson Block?
Carson Block is an American short-seller and the founder of Muddy Waters Research. Block is known for alleging fraudulent accounting practices in publicly traded Chinese companies.
Block grew up in Summit, New Jersey, and holds a law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He previously worked for his father's company, W.A.B. Capital.
In 2011, Block was ranked as a 50 Most Influential Thinker by Bloomberg Markets.
