Who is Jalal-ud-din Jalal Baba?
Jalaluddin, aka Jalal Baba, was born in Abbottabad, Hazara on 3 March 1901. He was a public leader and supporter of the Pakistan independence movement. He started his career as a driver for the Britishers, and rose to the station of a leading transporter of the area. He joined Muslim League in 1935 and eventually became President of the Hazara branch of the Muslim League during the 1940s and was unopposed for many years.
