Who is R. G. Acton?
Robert G. Acton was an American football coach. He served as the fifth head football coach at Vanderbilt University. Acton coached the Vanderbilt Commodores for three seasons from 1896 to 1898, compiling a record of 10–7–3. He died of an overdose of morphine in 1900.
