Who is Steve Kuhn?

As SelectMinds' Director of Product Management, Steve works closely with clients

to understand their business needs and sets the strategic direction for

SelectMinds’ products. As a designer, Steve also ensures that the look

and feel of SelectMinds’ solutions are engaging and user-friendly.

Steve has more than 10 years of experience leading product design

for some of the world’s most prominent organizations. Prior to joining

SelectMinds, Steve worked at eBay, where he designed and managed the

user interface for a payments and checkout system which handled more

than $30 million a day in transactions. Steve also spent time at Art

Technology Group (ATG), a top provider of e-commerce solutions, where

he designed the trendsetting e-commerce site for BMG Music Services and

one of the first Web-enabled knowledge-management systems for Sun

Microsystems. While at ATG, Steve also worked with industry leaders

including Best Buy, Office Depot and Cabela's on their e-commerce

strategies and designs. Steve also served as a consultant with the

World Health Organization where he worked to design its company-wide

Intranet and knowledge management system.

Steve taught interface design and research methods as an adjunct

instructor at Carnegie Mellon University and has lectured on the

subject at venues including American Center for Design's User

Experience Summit and has been quoted in publications including the New

York Times. Steve holds a Master's Degree in Design, Communication

Planning and Design, from Carnegie Mellon University.
