Who was Walter Perceval Yetts?
Walter Perceval Yetts was a British surgeon and sinologist.
After training as a physician and surgeon, he joined the Royal Naval Medical Service in 1903. He resigned in 1912, but on the outbreak of World War I, he volunteered and was assigned to the Royal Army Medical Corps, achieving the rank of Major.
