Who is Alain-Marcel Linse?
Alain-Marcel Linse is a French artist born in Paris in 1956.
Linse was educated in Marcelin Berthelot college and then he studied at Beaux-arts school in Paris. He moved to Brazil in 1994 and studied etching with Paulo Lisboa at Guignard University of Art of Minas Gerais.
Linse is an abstract, but alludes to anatomicals. His work is often realised in bronze, but also sculpte stones, wood and steel. He use various media such as: painting, etching, drawing, ceramics. Linse's work includes small-scales and larger pieces, that cast in his own foundry.
