Johann Andreas Wagner was a German palaeontologist, zoologist and archaeologist who wrote several important works on Palaeontology.
Wagner was a professor at the University of Munich, and curator of the Zoologische Staatssammlung. He was the author of Die Geographische Verbreitung der Säugethiere Dargestellt.
