Lü Jie is a Cantonese-speaking model who works in Mainland China and Hong Kong. She started her career as an advertisement and TV commercial model in 1998 and later moved into sitcoms and TV drama in early 2002 starring in TV drama series 网络情人, 柴米新人类
She played roles in two Hong Kong box office films 《伙頭智多星》功夫足球, 心痒痒 and 伪钞的末日.
Lü Jie graduated from Zhixin High School in Guangzhou, Guangdon, China and the Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages with a degree in French.
