Who is Maria Rooth?
Maria Rooth is a Swedish ice hockey player. She is the only University of Minnesota Duluth women’s hockey player to have her jersey retired above the ice of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Rooth is alternate captain and one of the most experienced players on the Swedish national team, which she has been a part of since 1996.
