Who is Makoto Murata?
Makoto Murata is a Japanese computer scientist. He participated in the W3C XML Working Group. The Working Group designed XML1.0, a markup language specification. Murata and James Clark designed RELAX NG, an XML schema language.
Murata is the convener of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 34 WG 4, responsible for Office Open XML maintenance.
