Who was Odd Bang-Hansen?
Odd Bang-Hansen was a Norwegian novelist and children's writer.
He made his literary debut in 1938 with the novel Fager er studentens drøm. He wrote several children's books, including Mette og Tom i fjellet, and Trapp med 9 trinn. He was chairman of the Norwegian Authors' Union from 1965 to 1971.
He was father of theatre director Kjetil Bang-Hansen and film producer Pål Bang-Hansen.
