Who is Stephen Churchett?
Stephen Churchett is an English actor and writer.
One of his most notable roles is as solicitor Marcus Christie in EastEnders, on and off from 1990 to 2004. He reprised the role in 2014.
He has also appeared in various television programmes, including Up Pompeii!, Enemy at the Door, C.A.T.S. Eyes, Casualty, 'Allo 'Allo!, The House of Elliot, The Brittas Empire, Peak Practice, Silent Witness, Dangerfield, The Bill and Dalziel and Pascoe. He also appeared in the Doctor Who episode Attack of the Cybermen in 1985.
He has written episodes of The Bill, Kavanagh QC, Inspector Morse, Dalziel and Pascoe and Hornblower, as well as writing the screenplay for Lewis, and five Agatha Christie's Marple television adaptations.
