Who was Walter McClure?
Walter Rayburn McClure was an American track and field athlete who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics.
He was born in Junction City, Oregon.
In 1912 he finished eighth the Olympic 1500 metres event. In the 800 metres competition he was eliminated in the first round.
At the same Olympics he competed in the baseball event which was held as demonstration sport.
